Windows 10: When I move files and photos from OneDrive to a memory stick, I can't open them or watch...

I am trying to get all the files and photos in OneDrive off and put onto a memory stick. When I move them I can't open them or watch the video's. I've looked online for help and I'm so confused. I HATE OneDrive, it took my photos and files and it's like they are being held for ransom of paying more money a month for storage. I want to see the video's I've taken of my kids and not keep OneDrive on my computer. I have Windows 10. I get that it's a interesting concept of being able to access files/photos on all devices, but not to the point I have to pay for more storage and I can't move those f

Unable to open Photos saved on a Memory Stick

i cannot open my photos which i saved onto a memory stick. The computor gives me options to try and use programmes to open them but none of them work.

some while ago I downloaded some photos from my windows xp computer. I have recently upgraded to windows 10 . when I plug memory stick in the files appear but get error message saying cannot open files after scanning it and windows cannot fix it.

can you help as this contains photos of my children when they were babies.

As you are facing issues with transferring the photos to memory stick on your device, we will help you with this issue.

Do let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• Have you connected the memory stick to your computer (confirm to us)?
• Were you able to detect the memory stick on your computer (File Explorer)?

I would like to inform that to transfer the photos to memory stick, connect the device to the computer, make sure it is detected and able to access it.

Select the photos you wish to transfer, right click on those, you will find
Send to option, over the mouse on top of it to find the devices to transfer the photos.

If the device is not detected, try to connect to different ports (if accessing via USB ports). This will let us know if the issue is with ports on your computer.

Also, try to connect the memory stick to different computer and check if it is working fine. This will let us know if the issue is with the memory stick.
