Windows 10: When I open a window I cannot write in it without clicking in the textfield.

I have an issue which is annoying me for a while a lot!

When I open a new window for example a remote access window I cannot write in this window without clicking first in the text field with the mouse. A time ago maybe before half a year it was possible. Suddenly I had this problem. Meanwhile, it drives me wild! Can anyone help me? There must be a setting in Regedit but I don't know how to google it. Couldn't find anything till now.

I would be so happy if someone has a solution. Thank you.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Single-click or double-click?

As the title says, do you single-click or double-click on your shortcuts to open your apps?

I'm a fan of single-click, the only downside is that often when I click on a message in de list of my mails in Outlook it can open the mail in a window...
Not always but besides that, single-click works best for me.
