Windows 10: When I open a window, Win10 frequently automatically searches for something I searched earlier.

Basically whenever I make a folder window active that has been sitting in the background, it instantly jumps into the search bar and automatically fills in the last thing I ever typed into that search box within said folder. This of course causes all the files to disappear immediately while the search results pop up.

This happens completely random but quite frequently, and I have no idea what is causing it.
Is there some kind of keyboard shortcut which may be causing this? Though, if one of the keys on the keyboard was shorting, I'd notice weird things in other programs as well. Yet this seems like an isolated problem.

Windows 10 search not indexing Outlook 2013, no search results

Let's diagnose the issue by referring to the following suggestion and check if that helps you.

First of all, I would suggest you to check if the
Windows Search Service is running in Automatic mode under the list of Windows services. You can follow the steps to check and start the
Windows Search again:

• Press Windows+R keys to open Run. Type “servces.msc” without quotes and hit
  Enter.
• From the list of services, locate the Windows Search Support Service
  and Windows Search Service.
• Right click on the Windows Search Service
  and then click on Properties.
• Check if the service is running. If not, start the service and change the
  Startup type to Automatic.
• Follow the same steps to start the Bluetooth service
  and change the startup type to Automatic.

You can also try the following suggestion.

Run the Search and Indexing troubleshooter. Follow the steps mentioned below.

• Press “Windows key + W”.
• Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes in the Search box and hit enter.
• Select “View all” option from the left panel.
• Select “Search and Indexing”.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

What is your favorite search engine

Everyone knows how much I rail against MS. But I have to give them credit for Bing. It works the most relevant for me in my searches, and my search histories carry over to my Windowsphone.

Also, they actually list which search results were paid for to be in the top results (listing them as advertisements), unlike google, who is in litigation in EU for not being open about that shit.
