Windows 10: When I open Microsoft store and click the sign in button nothing happens. It never brings...

It never brings up a dialog box to login. Additionally, if I install the Xbox app and try to login, it will log in but tell me there is something wrong with my Microsoft account. Each of these apps I have installed and uninstalled multiple times and it does not fix the issue. I have tried repairing and reseting the Microsoft store app and that does not correct the issue. I have followed various tutorials that had me run commands in the powershell to fix and reinstall the Store app but this has not helped either. What can I do to fix this?

Install Button on Microsoft Store

There's a possibility that you are currently signed in on your computer using your local account. For us to sort this out, we suggest that you sign in with your Microsoft account instead. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings > Accounts > Your email and accounts.
• Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

Once signed in with your Microsoft account on your computer, try signing into the Windows Store app.
