Windows 10: When I open OBS Studio it crashes my laptop

Whenever i start OBS Studio and in just a few seconds my laptop gets the blue screen of death it says page fault in nonpaged area I checked the reliability monitor and microsoft gameinput says successful application reconfiguration thats when the BSOD happened i'm currently using AMD driver software is there any way you can fix this???

Okay, I see. You could also try this:

- Open File Explorer

- Go to C:\Program Files\obs-studio\bin\64bit

- Find obs64.exe (it has an icon of OBS logo)

- Right-click on it and select "Create shortcut"

- Click Yes, then check the created shortcut in your desktop. If the icon of the created shortcut is no longer corrupted then you can just change its name to "OBS Studio (64bit)" if you want.

Hi lads.

Do any of you know or have used OBS Studio?

Since last week i am streaming on Twich but unfortunately yesterday i have had to stop doing it due lag or buffering, from my monitor to OBS the Game doesn't lag or keep buffering but in the Twich window it does, maybe i am missing some setting, i have seen people that they do streaming and Games run smoothly.

Any advice will be more than appreciate.

I cannot use OBS Studios on this Lenovo laptop

Back in March, I deleted some files in an abortive attempt to give myself admin privileges and install some Python software. Long story short, my laptop has not functioned as well since.

I found solutions for several issues, but one I still need help with is using third party software like OBS Studios. Most software I install works just fine, but whenever I use OBS I get an error message:

"Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details."

I've posted my log on the OBS forums, but no one has been able to help me.
