Windows 10: when I open search, the menu disappears before I can write a search question. Or If, it...

I an using the Insider evaluation builds. The last, one 20180 when first installed did not have this problem. Then after a while, for no apparent reason when I went to open search the menu disappeared before i could use it. Often, the search button did not even open the menu or show the writing area bedoe it disappeared. The lastest build, 20190 cintinud to do the same thing. I had this issue in earlier builds but it had corrected and I thought it would be carried over to the next builds. The computer is a desktop, HP Envy Phoenix 810-170st. , speed is 3.9, with 16 g of memory and and an up-to-date Nvidia graphics. I have not been able to fix this after many recommedations, and many tries.


Does anbody know of a solution that can fix this?

I've done some searching on here over the years, and mostly been aggravated at the results. Case in point: 5 minutes ago I went to search for anyone having issues with 5.1 audio on Wolfenstein new order. So, I started simple with
New Order
. that didn't go well. So, I swapped to "New Order". That gave me this result
