    when i open try going to an article presented by msn browser i get a blank page.


    using micro soft 11 the microsoft browser with the community active on the article pages. i go to open the article and all i see is a blank white page. yet when i open an article on yahoo i get the article. i can use the msn browser and locate microsoft and get phone numbers but not the articles that are provided on the msn opening pages

    MSN opens in my browser during startup

    The default browser was opening during startup and going to MSN page.

    What ever browser I set as my default browser (Chrome, Edge or Internet Explorer) was opening when I started the computer and going directly to MSN page. It was not going to the default page set for the browser. I have blank page set as the default.

    Changing the registry entry to disallow probing as per my explanation in previous post fixed the problem and my browser no longer opens at MSN page during computer startup.

    The problem commenced after the last Microsoft Update and that is what made me think that Microsoft changed something.

    Hi!

    Online help and MS forum "gurus" explain clearly how to set your homepage when you open Edge or a new tab. No really necesary as it is just 2 settings in the configuration... but...

    Endless times have I checked it and disabled "News feed" or "Suggested content" and set it to only my favorites.

    Still I am stuffed with returning MSN news aggregation page, which is mainly shitnews, fakenews or trivialnews. Hate it to death!

    Do you know a hack, registry or file edit to totally destroy this news feed? Thanks in advance!

    Microsoft: this simple issue is forcing me more and more to move to Vivaldi and other browsers. Do you really have to bomb us with nonsense news?
