Videos on websites play in bright neon colors; I can't even see what's happening.

Hi,

Some computers can let Windows automatically adjust screen brightness based on the current lighting conditions.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

• Click Start, then select Settings.
• Choose System, then select Display.
• Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.

how can we adjust screen brightness?

As we don`t know what you are using.

Is this a laptop screen or a monitor and what is it ( Make / Model / Brand ) ???

• A monitor will have its own function keys to adjust brightness and contrasts.
• A laptop will have Fn Function Keys to do this.

One could also use the Windows 7 inbuilt Color Calibration tool.

• Go to the Start Menu.
• Type in : calibrate display color.
• A drop down menu will appear.
• Select and open calibrate display color.
• Follow the steps it provides.

Graphics Cards can have their own functions for this within their control panel as well.

 

Help! Recent MS Update changed mouse display

Unfortunately the bright neon colors are back despite having IRIS software that blocks blue colors. I am starting to feel desperate. The neon cursor colors have got to go. I've done whatever is suggested which changes for a day, then
returns the next morning.

It is super bright and even blocks out the text behind it. I tried taking a screenshot to show the cursor brightness but it doesn't show up in the SS. Grrr.

Unfortunately, the changes seem to be only temporary.

If you or anyone else has other ideas, I'm all ears. Thank you.
