    Hello, I got a Linksys WUSB6300 wi-fi adapter for my pc since the apartment I moved into for college does not have an accessible ethernet port. Everything was working fine until I realized my USB headset that includes a microphone would not transmit sound anymore. I can hear everything just fine, people just cannot hear me. I did tests with my microphone and windows would pick up either no sound, or static. I didn't think my microphone was broken and to confirm it I tested it again WITH ethernet at my parents house when I went home for the holidays. My microphone works just when if my pc is co

    Virtual Wi-fi Adapter

    Hi,

    I'm using my laptop as a second screen for my desktop. (by pressing win + p)
    For some reason, this feature is only available in Windows if your desktop has a wi-fi adapter.
    Funny thing is, that after I connect to my laptop with wi-fi, I can remove the adapter and it still works.

    I just managed to brake my adapter, so I was thinking if I can create a virtual wi-fi adapter somehow just to enable this option.
    Any suggestions?

    USB Wi-Fi Adapter Disabling

    Is it on Windows 8's compatibility list (check MS website- forgot link)?

    I had an issue with one Wi-fi adapter and it wasn't listed as compatible- All was well when I swapped it out with one on the compatibility list

    Windows 10 Fall Creators Update BROKE Wi-Fi Adapter

    I tried both suggestions and none of them worked. No visible changes either, and for some reason when I plugged in the provisional Wi-Fi adapter (which is painfully slow and unstable sometimes) it still remembered my Wi-Fi network and password... What now?
