Windows 10: when i plug my phone to my laptop I am getting linux file-cd gadget error

I am getting this error for a while my phone keeps disconnecting when I start troubleshooting it shows this error. The cable is not broken or anything my usb ports working fine and my phone keeps charging just i am seeing auto play pop out over and over again

CD drive error

1) Close all open programs
2) Click on Start, Run, and type REGEDIT and press Enter
3) Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SYSTEM
CurrentControlSet
Control
Class
{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
4) This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry. Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.

UpperFilters
LowerFilters
UpperFilters.bak
LowerFilters.bak
5) If any of the above keys shown in step 4 are listed, right-click on them and choose Delete
6) After deleting the keys, close the Registry Editor
7) Reboot your computer
8) Open My Computer and check to see if your CD or DVD drives have returned. You may also want to open Device Manager and verify that the yellow exclamation and error code on the CD or DVD drive is gone.

And it likely has something to do with the emulated drive you have listed there.

 

Windows recognizes e-book as Linux File-CD Gadget USB Device

Dear Microsoft-Community,

I have a problem when trying to connect my pocketbook pb361 with my windows 10 pc. In the device manager it is recoginzed as Linux File-CD Gadget USB Device and not functional. The error message when I click on the entry is:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There are no compatible drivers for this device.

I already tried to uninstall the drivers in the device manager and to reinstall them but the error still keeps comming up. Also searching for updates does not work. Pluggin in the device to another PC is working. So I would assume I have a problem with the
USB drivers. But I really don't know how to fix that.

This started for me with the lates windows 10 update. Before it was working as it should.

Guide: How to enable, use, and configure SLI on Linux.

I guess the next logical step would be to report on the performance you can get with SLI in Linux. That'd be my suggestion anyway.
