    When I press D in my usb keyboard, my laptop goes to sleep. And when I press Z, it exerces the f9 function. And when I press 1, the « symbol appears alongside it. How do I fix this.

    Laptop only goes to sleep after a button pressed for the second time

    ASUS K53SD with enabled "Instant On" function. This function
    is to ensure that the usb ports
    and touchpad are disabled after the laptop
    went to sleep. In Windows 8.1, 8 and 7
    laptop goes to sleep after a one press
    keyboard shortcut fn + f1. In windows
    10, I have to press twice.
    The same situation happens when I click
    the menu item "sleep". In Ubuntu
    everything works without problems

    Waking up laptop through USB mouse/keyboard?


    Hello, that's a problem I actually had since Windows 8:
    Whenever my laptop goes to sleep, the only way to wake it up is through the laptop's keyboard (pressing any key on the keyboard). But when I press the USB keyboard or the USB mouse, it doesn't wake up.
    I use my laptop mostly as a "desktop": I connect it through an HDMI cable to a larger 24" monitor, and the laptop is lying closed in the corner. It is just annoying to open the laptop and press the keyboard.. not a big deal, but if it's possible to change that it will be good When I press D in my usb keyboard, my laptop goes to sleep and logs out. And when I press... :)!
