Windows 10: When I press some keys on keyboard Left Ctrl, Nr 5 top row, Nr 6 on NumPad etc., Keyboard...

Hi all,


I am using Lenovo Ideapad S145 Laptop with Windows 10 OS. My issue started yesterday for a reason that I am not aware.

As said in subject, my keyboard reacts strangely. When I press, for ex: Ctrl, number 6 starts to appear and holds in text line until I press another key.


I am getting suspicious about KB4579311 update as my problems started after this one. I uninstalled this update but the problem did not go.


I tried to restart it in Safemode and see if problem is about hardware or software. It is still there.

Since I do not have another keyboard to connect to USB and check, I am not sure if this is Hardware issue.


Have anyone had such an issue? Your help / advice is highly appreciated.

the top row is not working

To better understand your query, please reply:

1. What do you mean by "top row not working" not working? Are you referring to keyboard top row keys?

I would suggest you to go to the safe mode and see if the problem persists.

To go to Safe mode follow the steps below:

• 
  Click on Windows key, and in the Power Options click on Restart while pressing the shift key.
  
• 
  A blue screen will appear with a few options.
  
  Click on Troubleshoot > Advanced Settings > Startup Settings > Restart.
  
• 
  Your system will automatically restart, press 4 or F4 key to go to the Safe Mode.

Week nr in built calendar?

Did anybody know how to change week nr in 2015 calendar for the built in (win !0) calendar?

It is one week behind.

Week nr does not match with reality it starts wrong from January.

So all events are now wrong scheduled.
