Windows 10: when i press the key alt and any other key while playing a video game the alt key doesnt...

before I reformatted my pc i didnt have this issue but after I did i play a certain game in wish the alt key is very inportant and the problem is that after i reformatted my pc the alt key doesnt work on the game anymore and insted it makes a noise when i press it with other keysi dont have any other software on my pc that can use the alt key only windows apps and 1 game

1. Check Game Settings:
   
   • Ensure that the left Alt key is correctly binded in the game settings. Some games may have been updated and reset the key bindings.
     
2. Run Game as Administrator:
   
   • Right-click the game's shortcut or executable file and select 'Run as administrator'. This gives the game full access to your system, which might resolve the issue.
     
3. Disable Sticky Keys:
   
   • Sticky Keys is a Windows feature that can interfere with gaming. Go to Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard and make sure Sticky Keys is turned off.
     
4. Check for Software Conflicts:
   
   • Other software running in the background may be using the Alt key and causing conflicts. Close any unnecessary applications while gaming and see if that helps. Perform a clean boot.

Left alt key does not work in video games

Hello,

As of a couple weeks ago, my left alt has stopped working in video games. For example, many games will have something binded to the left alt key, such as diving or free mouse. However, pressing left alt will not do anything. Commands like alt-tab still work, so I know the key itself isn't broken.

Any ideas on how to fix this? This was not a problem until a couple weeks ago, so maybe there was some kind of update that bugged things out?

All FullScreen Games, Get lag spikes on Pressing the alt Key


Hello, So i am having an issues here.
Every Game i play in fullscreen ,GTA V,Bf4 Dota 2,CSGO, Skyrim and all other game Lag on pressing Alt,
I go from 60fps to 45 each time i press it,
The thing is if i play in Windowed Borderless everything is fine, it was doing the same thing with my previous video card gtx 770 and now i have 980,but it's was not doing it on Windows 7, I use alt most of the time to speak online via Ventrilo or Teamspeak3,
Yes i try to change my teamspeak key to something else or try my game without any voip and i still get the lag,

it is weird and i really need to find why it does that.
any idea?

CPU. FX 8350
MB, Sabertooth v2.0
Memory 16GB G.skill
GTX 980
PSU 750 TX
WIN 10 pro 64bit
