When I put my resolution to 1440x1080 I can’t use the right side of my screen. How do I fix this?

the native resolution is 1920x1080 the screen works fine with this but when I try and use 1440x1080 then I cant use the right side of my screen.

 

When I change my Resolution to 1440x1080 my hertz resets to 60

When I change my resolution to 1440x1080 (nomally 1920x1080 144hz) my hertz resets to 60hz and then if I try to change back to 144hz my resolution goes to 640x280 or something so im forced to play 1920x1080 144hz instead of what I want which is 1440x1080

Hi Zach,

It is probably because you are changing the aspect ratio of your display, 1920x1080 has an aspect ratio is 16:9 and 1440x1080 has an aspect ration of 4:3

If you change your resolution to 1440x1080 is everything on your screen not stretched?

If you want to change your resolution to that, try doing it in the graphics card control Panel not in the Windows settings app.
