Windows 10: When I restart my computer, it goes back to factory state

Hi, I recently updated to windows 11, and every time I hit reset my pc goes to default mode, I don't know why this is happening.It dosen't get this way when I turn the computer on and off ; only for the "reset" button. Every config that I previously do is setted by default.

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it

 

Reset to factory settings

Hi,. I have an HP Envy Phoenix with 1 Tb hard drive....64 bit.

It was originally a Windows 7 computer that I upgraded to Windows 10. I decided to do a factory reset and set it to start Friday night andwhenI looked at it Saturday it was still going.....12 hours. I restarted the computer and it started up with the HP symbol and a turning circle.....then HP symbol goes away but the spinning circle remains.

I got on the phone with HPsupport and he tried a few things that didn't work.....computer goes to HP as soon as the box gets here.

Any suggestions....I hate to be without my computer.

Restart the computer a few times and check for Windows Updates.

In the Search box on the taskbar, enter Windows Update, select Windows Update. On the Windows Update page, select Check for updates.

Also, try to run the Power Troubleshooter.Power troubleshooter will automatically fix some common issues with Power Plans. Run the Power troubleshooter to adjust your computer's
power settings. The Power troubleshooter checks things like your computer's timeout settings, which determine how long the computer waits before turning off the monitor display or entering sleep mode. Adjusting these settings can help you conserve power and
extend your computer's battery life.

  Search option.

  Select Troubleshooting and click on
  System and Security.

  Click on Power and follow the onscreen steps.
