If the problem symptom returns [Desktop showing the correct contents when looked at in File explorer but not when looking at the Desktop itself], right-click on an empty area of the Desktop and select Refresh.

Many people have found that their Desktop's are not refreshing automatically and are forced to take this step. I searched & searched for a permanent solution but every suggestion I found either had no effect or had only a limited-duration effect.

Windows 10 Constant Refresh/Right Click issue

Since downloading Windows 10, my desktop continues to refresh literally every 2-3 seconds, rendering many of my computer's functions relatively unusable. No matter what application I am using, every time I right click, the right-click menu only stays
visible for about a second before the desktop refreshes and I have to right click again. I have tried a number of solutions, but have yet to find a fix. Additionally, I cannot even use internet search suggestions because they disappear every time my computer
refreshes.

  In top right corner you will find a refresh button

  Click on refresh button and check if it sync with the account
