I need help to print screen Full Screen Mode of a letter in PDF format; but due to laptop screen is landscape, I am using external monitor.However, when Print Screen sometimes don't work, reboot always work but I prefer not to re-open my documents and Apps.When I set my second monitor as my primary display in Windows 10, is portrait possible? rather than defaults to landscape?BACKGROUNDcatch. You can only use this method to capture the screenshot of your primary display. It won’t work on any secondary display.

Windows 10 External Monitor only :: How to set Portrait orientation?

I surmise the need for step recorder is not common enough to justify enabling the option for Intel driver.

Screen Capture Mouse Cursor position on External Monitor is why I create this post.

When it cannot capture Mouse Position, I use Steps Recorder but it records both Displays...

My Screen Capture is used for following:

1. Power Automate Cloud
   
2. Office 365
   
3. communicate to Tech Support
   

Hoping Microsoft would add features to next version of

1. Step Recorder
   
2. Snip App(s)
   
3. Windows Display setting
   

Assuming most users like me need

1. Mouse cursor position captured by Snip App(s)
   
2. External monitor, when used, is often
   
   1. to extend Display
      
   2. used for important task(s)
      
   3. App such as Office is on External Display
      
   4. Laptop monitor for secondary task(s)
      
   5. Step Recorder is to demo use of Single App, therefore External Monitor
      
   6. Portrait oriented for capturing web pages like Power Automate

Primary Monitor Dims When Connecting Second Monitor

I'm currently using an LG 34UC79G-B monitor as my primary display and a Samsung CF390 as my secondary display, running Windows 11.

When the LG is utilized as the sole monitor (display settings set to "Only Show on 1"), the monitor works fine, brightness is great. However, when I switch to "Extend Desktop" to utilize a second monitor, the main monitor dims fairly significantly.

Additional information:

• GPU drivers and Windows are fully updated
  
• Auto-brightness/adaptive brightness is disabled
  
• HDR is disabled
  
• No settings are or have been changed, both in Windows and on the monitor's OSD
  
• The monitor works great at all times, except when I'm using two monitors
  

UPDATE: I switched my primary display to HDMI instead of DP and the issue stops. However, it's a 144Hz monitor, so running HDMI instead of DP cuts my framerate.

What in the world could be causing this?

4. Check Monitor Settings: Some monitors have their own settings for orientation. Check if your secondary monitor has such options and if so, make sure it's set to Portrait.
