Windows 10: When I start my computer up windows 10 glitches: Cannot drag tabs around, when hovering...

Hello,Whenever I boot up my computer, I experience all the symptoms in the title. I can tell when the computer is in this weird state when I open up the volume icon in the task bar and the volume bar is highlighted/selected white boarder around the slider. I was also able to tell by when I open up Microsoft edge and play a song or youtube the media bar that appears on the upper left hand corner never goes away. It's like it's stuck there.I've tried these following solutions:Turning off the media bar via Microsoft edge via edge://flags/#hardware-media-key-handlingTurn off "Underline keyboard

Windows 10 Mouse hover effect glitch (With picture)

Reminds me of some hover events I did in a Bell 206, down at Bighorn Airways . . . .





Could you trouble shoot at all by running perfmon /report when your glitches occur ?





I disabled a USB Input Device on purpose, and it definitely shows up as a problem. . .









It's just a lame guess, but. . .

 

Increase the mouse hover delay in Windows 10

• What exactly are you referring to when you say: "Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse"?
• Are you referring to screen saver options when you say: instant display of bubbles?
• Which are the apps you are referring to in the question?

As a workaround, I suggest you to boot the device to Safe mode with networking and check if the issue persists.

Follow the below steps to place the computer in normal mode.

• Press Windows + R keys to open
  Run command.
• Type msconfig and press
  Enter.
• In the System Configuration
  window, click on General tab.
• Select Start-up selection as
  Normal startup, click on Apply and Ok.
• Follow onscreen instructions.

Windows 10 Pointer Hovering

Thanks for the feedback, Mike. To turn off the pointer or mouse hovering on your laptop, follow these steps:

• In Cortana search, type in Mouse.
• Click Mouse and Touchpad settings in the search result.
• Turn off the Mouse Hover Switch.

You may also look for Tap to Click and have it turned off. Here's how:

• In Cortana search, type in Mouse.
• Click Mouse and Touchpad settings in the search result.
• Click Additional Mouse Options and select the Thinkpad tab.
• Click Settings.
• Under the General tab, uncheck Tap to Click option.
