Windows 10: When I switch from a full screen application my main monitor goes black for a second.

When I open up a full screen application mainly games my main monitor m28u goes black. I put the monitor at 144hz 4k. I am currently using the cable that got sent out with the monitor, so I assume that it is able to support the monitor. My other monitor is a somewhat older hp that can run up to 60hz and runs 1920x1080. Specs of my computer:RTX 3070AMD ryzen 5 7600ASROCK B650MI have already tried using another HDMI cable, although I am not certain that supports 144hz. Besides that I have also tried to use the displayport cable that came with the monitor, that did not work either. What seems

Second Monitor goes black after a couple of seconds

I have a Dell laptop running Windows 10 and two monitors. The second monitor comes on and then goes black after a couple of seconds. If I turn it on, leave it for awhile, turn it off and then back on, it eventually stays on. I have switched out the monitor
for a new one - which worked for awhile but now has the same problem. I have switched out the cable and the power cord and still have the problem.

I checked the drivers and it says they are up to date. I tried changing the refresh rate with no success.

 

Windows 10 Second Monitor goes black when set as main screen

i am trying to set my second monitor as the main display and whe i do that it goes black. When i set them as CLONE display they are fine but when i try to play a game the second monitor goes black AGAIN.

I am trying to set the second monitor as the main screen to see if i can game on the bigger screen instead but the monitor goes black when i set it as the main screen.

Intel Display drivers are fine. I had no problems with this before... But usually like always, Windows make some updates and now i am having this issue.

I haven't been able to find a solution to this.

Idk if its the resolution but when i set it as CLONE display they both show up fine, until i try to play a game and then goes black again.

 

Applications on second monitor switch to primary monitor when monitor times out.

So basically ill have some applications open on my second monitor such as chrome, discord, spotify, and then my primary monitor will have something else such as a game.

However when my monitor screens timeout after a certain amount of time without activity, upon moving my mouse and watching my monitors light up again, the applications from my secondary monitor will switch to my first and ill have to drag them back over to my second one.

This obviously is not a huge issue but it would be nice to make it so that the applications on my second monitor do not switch over when the monitors black out.
