When I switched to One Drive to back up my photos for the first time, ALL of my labeled photo folders disappeared and have not returned. They took years and thousands of photos to organize. Now more changes have been made by Microsoft and I can't even find a way to make add a photo to a folder or make a new folder, with the exception of favorites. can you recommend competitor who is reliable.?

How do I move photos from the my photo app to the pictures folder on the C drive?

  Open Photo App.
  
• 
  Select the photo and right click on the photo.
  
• 
  Select Open Folder.
  
• 
  From there you will be able to copy all the photos to C: drive

If you are using the OneDrive Desktop App, we suggest you to try it on OneDrive.com, and follow the steps below to rearrange your files:

• Browse to the folder with the files or photos you want to rearrange.
• Tap or click Sort, and then choose Rearrange.
• If prompted, install Microsoft Silverlight.
• Arrange the files or photos by dragging them in the order you want them to appear.
• Tap or click Save sort order.

how do i label photos

Dear Microsoft--

This is unsatisfactory. You must create a way for labeling information to be added to individual photos. I mean attached to the photo, not within the photo. So, for example, maybe I want to label a photo "Jefferson Memorial, close-up of Jefferson's face."

Microsoft Photos will be useless to me going forward unless you create this obvious capability.

I'm switching to a non-Microsoft app till you fix the inadequacy.
