Windows 10: When i tab out of minecraft multiple times and get fullscreen again it causes massive input lag

So normally i tab out then i press the f11 it little bit blinks and im at full screen. But when i do this repeatedly instead of a little blink its just smooth transition and i get input lag ingame. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN ON WINDOWS 10

Can Fullscreen optimization cause input lag?

I've heard some games like Overwatch and CSGO can have some lag input when fullscreen optimization is enabled. Can you tell me what Fullscreen optimization actually does?

 

Massive input lag while running games in fullscreen

just like the title says. when running games in fullscreen i get input lag from 10 to 3 seconds. the creators update helped a little though. before i had horrendous input lag that would make keystrokes cancel other keystrokes, but now it's just a 3 to 10
second delay.

I've updated my drivers, preformed a soft reset and followed the manufacturer's troubleshooting instructions for this issue to no avail.

i know there was post similar to this but it was from some strange software. I've checked the applications on my PC by looking for problems similar to this that were caused by the software I've installed. i also uninstalled some of my lesser used software
and re-installed it hoping for a fix but still nothing. I've even plugged the keyboard into my laptop and it works fine there which makes me scratch my head questioning why this occurs.

Half-Life (or for that matter, anything other than brainbread that uses the source engine)
