Windows 10: When I tried to put my phone number in microsoft rewards to redeem something, it keeps...

When I tried to redeem a gift card on Microsoft Rewards, I had to put my phone number in and when I did it keep on showing the message "That verification method isn't working right now. Please try another method." I think the problem might be that I used this same phone number for 3 different accounts but I am not entirely sure, as I was able to use that phone number with no problem before I doing a factory reset on my computer.

Unable to add phone number in Microsoft Rewards

I am from India and whenever I try to add my phone number to redeem Microsoft rewards a prompt shows up "This alias cannot be added to your account. Choose a different alias" There's no problem even in receiving the otp and I even tried with two different phone numbers but it still isn't working

All you should require is a Microsoft account to use Microsoft rewards. What specifically is asking for a phone number? What do you wish to redeem the points for?

Depending on what you wish to redeem the points for the points will be converted to money & added to your account’s wallet for use on the App Store, used to pay for an entry into a draw or other.
