When I tried to redeem the points it said that I need to have a phone number as an alias but it said that verification method isn’t worth no right now. What do I do?

I understand that you are trying to add you cell phone number to your alias list and you see the error "This phone number is already taken. Please try another."



Ideally, this error comes up when the phone number is already associated to a Microsoft account. We would like to know whether you have used the same number on any other Microsoft account.



However, to add an alias, we would suggest you to refer the section
