Windows 10: When I try to launch Sea of thieves it says i don't own it even though I do and wont...

When launching Sea of thieves I recieve this message.Sea of Thieves is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001This doesn't make any sense to me as I bought the game and when I go through my Microsoft account previous purchases it shows up and says click to play. But I cant play it at all.

Unable to launch sea of thieves

when i try launching the game it shows an image of the logo and then crashes i have tried many fixes and i am pretty sure i can run it.

i have tried reinstalling resetting and it wont work on Microsoft store or the Xbox app. please help

Were you able to check if your machine is up-to-date with the latest security patches from Microsoft?

Can you try to enable the built-in administrator account and see if you'll be able to launch the game:

1. Press Windows+R on your keyboard and type "cmd" then press OK

2. On the command prompt window, type net user administrator /active:yes and press Enter

3. Perform a reboot, login to your admin account.

4. Once done, try to launch sea of thieves

5. If it still won't launch, temporarily disable your antivirus and try again.

You may also re-register Windows apps

1. On your search bar, type "Windows PowerShell" and select Run as administrator

2. Type the command:

Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted and press Enter

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} and press Enter

3. Close the powershell window and go to C:/Users/yourusername/AppData/Local and look for the folder "TileDataLayer" > delete the folder if found (skip to the next step if the folder doesn't exist)

4. Perform a reboot and check again
