Windows 10: When I try to login to my PC I cannot type in my password.

My pc was fine earlier but when I went back to log in the keyboard wouldn’t type letters but It would type numbers, but my password contains letters so now I can’t sign in. When I pressed forgot password it let me attempt to change it and I was able to use my letter keys so I know it’s not a keyboard issue. I could’ve changed the password but the window automatically closed after 30 seconds or so. I restarted and now when I press change password I get redirected to the main screen with the timer. I’m doing a system restore right now idk if that could help but I wanted to try something. Could s

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

 

No login password craziness

Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.

Is there a trojan csrss.exe? If so how do I eliminate it.

She has changed the Google password.

Do we change her Microsoft password using her pc using the following steps?

• Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and then click Change a password.
• Type your old password followed by a new password as indicated, and then type the new password again to confirm it.
• Press Enter.
