Windows 10: When I try to open file explorer, it's blank and I only see the top bar

I've tried everything but nothing works. Sometimes I can't even close files.

Scroll bar keeps resetting in Windows File Explorer.

For some reason, when I'm browsing a long list of files, if I stop moving my scroll wheel for a few seconds, the scroll bar in the file explorer jumps back up to the very top. Which is annoying when I'm browsing a folder that has hundreds of files in it.
This only happens in the file explorer. Any suggestions?

I methodically unchecked all square(s) under each HKLM and observed the explorer scroll bar. Unfortunately, the bar rocketed to the top. I even unchecked all at the same time with same results. I'm open to any new suggestions.

 

File explorer will not open on windows 10

In this case, it's possible that the File Explorer is set to open an incorrect/corrupted file location. To rule out folder path related issues, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Type Control Panel in the search box. From the search result, click
  Control Panel.
• Select Small icons from the View by: drop-down list located on the top right side of the window.
• Select File Explorer Options.
• Under the General tab, select This
  PC from the Open File Explorer to: drop-down list.
• Click OK.

Once you're done, open File Explorer again and check if the issue persists.
