Windows 10: when i try to open sound or other tabs in my school laptop settings it just redirects me to...

my laptop is a dell latitude 3190 2-in-1 and i tried going to setting and going to sound mixer or sound but it just redirects me each time and my mic does not work ether and i tryed resetting my computer and it dosent give me a error code like if i try to go into a administrator thing

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Open the Settings App, then go to System - About

Please provide a screenshot of that settings page.

Is your laptop provided by your school or is it a personal laptop and are you the administrator account on the laptop?

Do you see any settings in your settings app blocked by 'Organization'?

Open the Settings App.

Go to Accounts.

Select Emails and Accounts, is there is a school Email listed there?

Select Access Work or School, is there is a school Email listed there?

 

Disable beep sound when plugging/unplugging laptop charger

I would suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

Disable the PC Speakers and check if it helps.

• Right click on Sound Icon in the task bar and go to Playback devices.
  
• Select Speaker and click on properties.
  
• Go to Levels tab, and mute (or you can reduce it) PC Speaker and check if it helps.
