Windows 10: When I try to reset my login pin it says “Something went wrong”

I forgot my login pin and so I click forget password, I verify myself and type in my information. When I click agree to change pin it says “Something went wrong” on the part where I reset my pin code and I keep pressing retry but, it doesn’t load up.

Resetting PIN on Windows 10 Issues

I am getting a message at start up in the login screen saying I've tried several times to login with the wrong PIN. Even thought I haven't done a thing yet. It also looks like I have two accounts listed in the lower left corner. I can login using my Microsoft
password but, why can I no longer use the PIN step instead? Can I reset my PIN?

I suggest you to create a PIN for your device and try the on screen keyboard to login to the same.

You may follow the steps below to create PIN protection for your device.

• 
  Go to Settings and select account.
  
• 
  Click on sign in option and Go to PIN option.
  
• 
  Now click on Add and set PIN for login.
  

You can use the same PIN to login to your device using the on screen Keyboard from ease of access option and verify the result.
