1. Where did you purchase the license from?
   
2. How did you perform the upgrade?
   
3. Did you receive any error when the PC restarted?
   
4. Do you have any third party anti-virus software installed?
   

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to make sure that Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 is installed, and the PC meets the

system requirements for Windows 10

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
