Windows 10: When I try to upload my screenshots anywhere, it shows a popup saying the following. Check...

"C:\Users\KMM51\Pictures\Screenshots is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disk is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or Internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it may have been moved or deleted." I don't apply to these scenarios my screenshots are not on a disk/drive and are not on a network. Is there a way I can fix this?

File Explorer jump list doesn't consistently show location popups

Thanks for your reply.

Whatever "it" is exactly, all I know is, it does not behave consistently. This is so across multiple systems. Also, it isn't just recent items, but pinned items that fail to produce the popup on mouse over (when they should).

If the File Explorer setting you're referring to is "Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items," I already have that turned on.

Based on my tests, I tend to think this is a bug. Did you try reproducing it?

1. Right click File Explorer in taskbar to open the jump list.
2. Mouse over any of the pinned or recent folders and see if the popup with the location path appears (as shown in the screenshot with the original post).
3. If it does appear, close out of the jump list by left clicking anywhere outside of it.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 until you find the popups not appearing. In my experience, it always occurs, even if not right away. And all too often when I need them most.

About your concern, screenshots are considered camera photos. To upload photos to OneDrive please follow the steps provided below:

For Windows 10: Set your phone to upload photos automatically to OneDrive

• 
  In the OneDrive app, tap Menu
  
  > Settings
  
  > Camera
  upload.
  
• 
  Under Camera upload, turn the switch On.
  
  To also automatically upload videos you take with your phone, turn On the switch at Include videos.
  
  TIP: You can upload videos automatically only if Camera upload is also turned on.
  
• 
  Under Camera backup account, tap open the list and select the OneDrive account that you want pictures uploading to.
  

TIP: If you are using a metered internet connection, such as a cellular data connection, turn the switch Off at Upload on metered connections. If your connection is
not metered - most wi-fi network connections are not metered - you can turn this switch on.

For Windows Phone 8 or 8.1: Save photos and videos to OneDrive Upload photos and videos

  In OneDrive, in the All Files view, tap Add at the bottom of the screen.
  
• 
  At Choose an app, pick the source of the photo or video you want to upload, such as your phone's Photos app.
  
• 
  Find the photo or video you want to upload, select it, and then tap done.
  

Set your phone to upload photos automatically to OneDrive

• 
  Go to your phone's Settings and tap backup > photos + videos.
  
• 
  Under Photos or Videos, select either Good quality or Best quality.
  
  If you don't want to automatically upload photos or videos, make sure Don't upload is selected.
