When I try to view an EXR file, through Internet Eplorer, it just flashes, then closes. Not sure if its Windows or IE.

This possibly occurred due to compatibility issues or some flash settings have been disturbed. To assist you with your concern, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how to fix Adobe flash that is not working in Internet Explorer.

• Open Internet Explorer 11 and then go to any website with flash content.
• Press Windows Key + X or click the gear icon at the top right corner of browser window.
• Click Compatibility View settings.
• In the Compatibility View settings windows, add the sites that you're having issue with showing flash content.
• Before clicking Close, make sure that you checked the options at the bottom:

• Display intranet sites in Compatibility View
• Use Microsoft compatibility lists

6. Restart the Internet Explorer and that should be fixed.

Thank you for the detailed response. To change the search result's view from content to list, we suggest following the steps below:

• Open the File Explorer and try to search for files.
• In the toolbar, open the View tab and click List
  to change the view.
• Once changed, close the File Explorer.
• Open the File Explorer again and try to search to see if the setting has been retained.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Ensure that Flash Player is enabled.

• 
  Click the Tools menu, in the upper-right corner of Internet Explorer.
  
• 
  From the Tools menu, choose Manage add-ons.
  
• 
  Select Shockwave Flash Object from the list.
  
• 
  Click Enable, and then click Close.
  

Step 2: Disable ActiveX Filtering

1. Open the page that has rich media content in Internet Explorer.

2. Click the Tools menu and choose Safety > ActiveX Filtering.

3. Close the browser and open it. Then, try to view the content.



And also try to install the latest Flash player and check if it helps.
