Laptop: ASUS TUF Gaming A15. Operating system: Windows 11 Home 64-bit 10.0.22621. Processor: Amd ryzen 7 4800H with radeon graphics. Graphics card: NVDIA Geforce GTX 1660ti. Memory: 16gbAbout five times, when I turned on my laptop and it went on spinning dots, it froze. I tried doing this: Whenever the boot screen appears, restart your computer twice. Windows ought should launch Windows recovery automatically after the third attempt. And it worked. I simply want it to stop freezing again. How can I make my laptop stop freezing again? It happened a couple of months ago aswell but it stopped all

Toshiba Laptop Black Screen

I have a Toshiba Laptop, Was reinstalling windows 7 on it last night left it doing the updates then shut it down. Turned it on this this afternoon only to find the laptop screen is Black and also there is a burning smell coming from the Fan.

I connected the Laptop to a external monitor that is fine, Can go into bios, Windows boots up fine Etc.
Just took apart the laptop earlier to check all the cables where in correctly, Checked the motherboard over for any damage, burnt bits but but found nothing. Just put it back together now but im still getting this burning smell and i still cant use the laptop screen only a external screen.

I Tried Pressing FN+F5 to switch to the laptop screen, But still black screen. Any Suggestions please ?

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

 

Laptop goes to black screen after turning on

Hi there,

I have tried all of the steps in "trouble shooting the black screen" link you sent but none of them work.

I am unable to access the BIOS and am unable to get to the Windows Recovery screen. When I turn on the laptop, it is usually just a black screen. If I leave it for a while it remains a black screen.

When I press the power button and restart I get the black screen again. After about 3 attempts, I then see the "Acer" logo and get the spinning circle dots. It starts off with a message about trying to restore the PC or something like that, then it changes
to "Diagnosing your PC" with the spinning circles.

However, it stays in this state continuously, and the laptop makes a funny noise every couple of minutes.

When I turn the power off it goes back to the black screen.

Please can you assist with how I can get to the recovery screen? I am unable to load up the BIOS (which I have read is an issue with Windows 10 as it loads up so quickly), and am therefore unable to try and do a clean install from the USB drive I have which
contains the Windows 10 installation software.

I am very frustrated that this has happened all because I was forced to download the latest Windows 10 update.
