    When I type the letter "s" as the first letter in Microsoft's "Get Help" in Settings the...


    So I don't seem to have a problem when starting out with any other letter with the exception of the letter "s". The minute I type the first letter as an "s" into the "Get Help" box the "Get Help" goes white/blank and I have to close "Get Help" and go back in and start with a different letter.

    In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things:

    • Where are you trying to type a letter?
    • Which application or program are you using to type the letter?

    I suggest you to use WordPad or notepad for type the letter or any documents or else please do let us know what exactly you are trying to do? Which application are you looking for typing the letter?

    I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Open Disk Management (press [Win] +[R], type "diskmgmt.msc", and press [Enter]).
    • In the lower pane, right-click on the partition that you want to change drive letter, and click "Change Drive Letter and Paths"
    • A dialog should come up, showing the partition's current drive letter. Even if it is correct, click [Change].
    • From the dropdown, select any new letter, and then [OK] your way back to Disk Management. And check if it helps.

    how can I type a letter

    There's many ways to accomplish this, but one easy way to type a letter in Windows 10 by opening the built-in "WordPad" program.

    • Click the Start button
    • Type "wordpad" to find the WordPad program (it will search as you are typing)
    • Open the program and write your letter
    • Click File menu at the top to Save or Print your letter
