If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: 0x800f0845".When I try to install these updates. the updates are installed successfully and when the system gets restarted, a Blue screen error occurs. Window diagnose mode runs and It removes the latest version of the update. When my system starts, It gives an error that your system has a security risk issue please install the updates again system gets updated and again same blue screen error and Windows diagnose remov

    Startup blue screen error(s) can occur if a problem causes your PC to shut down or restart unexpectedly. It could be due to the following:

    received KERNAL MODE TRAP blue screen error


    • What is the make and model of the computer? Toshiba Satilite A665-S6050

    • When exactly you have received this error? Yesterday after the windows update

    • Did you receive any code numbers or values along with this issue? Just got a blue screen that said "we're collecting information,we'll restart for you"

    • Did you make any changes to the computer recently Just installed Office 2007 under compatibility mode

    • Are you able to access the desktop? Yes,after it restarted.

    Windows bit the dust

    Before windows boots press f8, it will give you a list of options. One will be to disable automatic restart on error, select that and when it blue screens it wont instantly reboot and them you can tell us the error it is giving you.
