More info:I believe I've boiled it down to it being a problem with Device Windows Manager dwm.exe, but I'm not sure.I'm pretty sure it's not a onenote problem and I'm definitely sure it's not my pen.I recently downgraded from Windows 11 to Windows 10 no problems in Windows 11.Other info:Windows 10 Home22H2Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 14ALC7

HP Pavellion 360 touchscreen , screen flash on and off as soon as I touch pen while using whiteboard on zoom/google meet

I have hp pavellion 360 touchscreen laptop, whenever I touch the screen with the pen while using any whiteboard app(onenote) it goes on and off. It dosent happen when I use OneNote on chrome. the screen just blinks every time I touch the pen on screen, please suggest solution. thanks in advance.

 

Screen starts to flicker after logging in for a while

Hello

This is an entirely new issue. My screen starts to flicker after logging in/turning on computer for a while, and/or if I launch an app that uses my Nvidia card (my laptop has Optimus), I'm not exactly sure which of these two causes it. For the first while after a restart, the screen appears fine. The flickering appears on desktop background + internet browser as well, so I'm pretty sure it's not a program compatibility issue. The flickering is not severe (the type that looks like horizontal bars sliding up) but it's an annoyance.

Tried:

• Disabling Windows error reporting + problem reporting service in msconfig
• Restart computer
• Resetting Nvidia global settings to default in Nvidia control panel
• Checking for display drive updates in device manager (all up to date)
• Checking monitor refresh rate (60Hz, can't be changed)

Laptop I'm using:

• i7-4700MQ 2.4GHz
• 1900x1080
• Intel HD 4600 + Nvidia GT750M

Pen and Onenote

When you are using pen, you can set the device to ignore the touch, to make the changes you can follow the steps below.



1. May I know, if you are using OneNote App from Store or OneNote that comes with Microsoft Office and Outlook?

2. If you are using Microsoft Office and Outlook, May I know which version of it is?



Method 1:
Ignore touch input when I’m using my pen.



Navigate to Settings > Devices > Pen & Windows Ink.

From the Right pane under Pen, check
Ignore touch input when I’m using my pen.



Method 2: Turn Touch Mode on or off.



I suggest you to check the article
Turn Touch Mode on or off for OneNote that comes with Office and Outlook, try the troubleshooting steps and check if this help you.
