When i use the 0 key on the numpad on my lenovo laptop with windows 11 it makes an f and another f a second later, how do i make it make a 0? It appears to be working correctly in the login screen though as i have a pin and i always use the numpad there, it doesn't work correctly anywhere else though.

Keyboard 4 and numpad key 0 not working

I found that the media key is one reason that affect keyboard 4($), so I just press all media keys to activate the key 4 again.

But numpad 0 is still not work.

Please help.

 

New Lenovo Laptop, need the F keys to change

My Lenovo shares the F1,F2, F3, .. keys with laptop functions such as brightness, sound, microphone, settings, etc.. Any software I use that makes use of an F1,F2, F3, .. key will use it for its own purposes which will vary according to the software being
used. I'm not sure what your laptop is doing that's causing these F keys to not behave as they usually do when using Express Scribe.

There is a 'feature' in Lenovo laptops that reverses the behaviour of the function keys so that the you need to a Fn key to access the F1,F2, F3, .. keys and the laptop function keys are the ones that work when you press the key directly.

I believe that's a behaviour that can be set in the laptop BIOS:

Keyboard 4 and numpad key 0 not working

I'm using Standard keyboard K200 with windows 10 on Surface pro 6 (Logitech Support + Download)

Suddently, my key 4 (Shift dollar) and numpad key 0 are not working even in Lock screen. Sometimes they work again but I dont know how to control them. Just only two those keys, the others work well.

Please help.
