    When installing turbo tax from CD I get error message MSVCP140.dll when I try to install. I bought a new disk. thinking the disc was bad. but it does the same thing. So it must be a microsoft problem and I need to re install

    Problem installing TurboTax on Windows 11. MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll missing

    I have Windows Edge I been trying to download TurboTax 2023 and i keep getting an error message MSVCP140.dll. I have used Turbo Tax for the pass 5 years with no problem.

    Windows 10 Installation problem with Turbo tax disc

    Hi Jeanene,

    To better understand the concern, kindly provide us the following information:

    • Are you getting any error messages when you insert the installation disc?
    • Are you getting any error messages when you attempt to install Turbo Tax?
    • When you insert the installation disc of Turbo Tax, can you see the installation file on File Explorer?
    In the meantime, kindly perform the troubleshooting steps provided by

    thread    .

    Turbo Tax 2017

    I am running windows 10, however I keep getting an error message when trying to install the turbo tax cd or do a download from their site. The error message says "unable to install on my computer because it doesn't support Turbo Tax 2017's minimum system
    requirements. Need to upgrade operating system. Turbo Tax works best with windows 7 (service pack 1 and above), 8 or 10."

    What to do?
