    i have a asus z790 p wifi d4 motherboard , intel 13600kf rtx3060ti and a m.2 crucial p5 plus 1tb PCie x 4 . at first my ssd wouldnt show up in my boot option but it said it was in storage information and had raid above it so i got very confused. so i searched up a video on how to fix it and it told me to disable VMD in bios and i did and then the ssd showed up in my boot option. since i was trying to install windows 11 pro i put the install media on a bootable usb and plug it in. at first i tryed booting with the ssd but i got a black screen saying to select the right install media so i tryed

    XPS 8930 will not recognize Samsung 970 pro NVMe M.2 SSD

    I have this $300 ssd and now it wont even appear on the Computer drives list.
    ( Samsung 970 pro 1T NVMe M.2 SSD )
    Windows 10 Home . The Dell has the ssd slot ; I connected it and fastened the screw . The driver software from Samsung wont even install, it gave me a error report mid way through. For it to even get that far in bios settings I turned off raid because other websites suggested that . I turned on something else I forget .

    But still nothing. I have the Samsung magic drive software and that does not even see it .
    Not at my wits ends, but almost.
    Any help trouble shooting this problem is greatly appreciated.. *Sad

    Windows 10 Pro installer cannot locate the M.2 SSD

    I am building a new system around a new HP Elitedesk 800 G2 with a WD Blue 1TB M.2 SSD.

    The installer fails to see the drive connected to the system.

    shift F10

    Diskpart

    List Volume

    does not show any storage other than the Micrsoft USB install media.

    Ive had a good look at the UEFI settings and tried a few things without luck.

    Is there a Microsoft tool to or guide that can help me wake up the M.2 storage?

    SATA SSD and M.2 SSD

    i was with a ssd sata and now i have ssd m.2, i formatted and put windows 11 in m.2, but i did not remove the ssd sata, i can only boot windows with the ssd sata connected, if i remove it windows does not boot to m.2



    obs: windows was installed on m.2 but the ssd sata was still connected, but windows was 100% installed on m.2, is there any way I can set m.2 as primary? (when i removed the ssd sata it did not recognize windows)
