When is microsoft fixing scanning issues with scanners from the new update 24H2, have done everything nothing works its a programming issue

FIX Microsoft Windows 11 Home issue of Scanning

3. Scanner Settings: Check if there are any settings in your scanner software related to "eSCL" (which stands for eScan Configuration Language) and try adjusting them.
   

In the meantime, it may be helpful to provide feedback about this issue directly to Microsoft via the Feedback Hub app in Windows 11 so they can investigate and potentially address it in a future update.

Error: Set the PC to start scanning when scanning using Cannon scanner

In order to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps, please reply with the following details:

• What is the complete error message?
  
• Which application are you using to scan the document?
  
• What is the make and model of the scanner?
  
• Were you able to use the scanner earlier?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

In the meantime, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned in the article

Want to scan documents through Scanner in word

Hello Vishwavani,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Please provide some additional information, so that we can assist you better.

1. Are you able to use scanning for other documents?
   
2. What is the make and model number of your scanner?
   
3. Is it wired scanner or wireless scanner?
   
4. Do you see any error message when you’re trying to scan?
   

We can try and perform few steps and see if it helps.

Step 1: Let’s check the responsible services to run scanner in the background.

1. Go to Search, type Services.msc, and go to Services.
   
2. Find Shell Hardware Detection service, right click on it, and go to Properties.
   
3. Make sure that Startup type is set to
   Automatic.
   
4. Click on Stop, and wait for the process to stop.
   
5. Now, click to start once again.
   
6. Restart your computer, and check if the issue is resolved.
   

If the issue still persists, reply to us with screen shot. Refer the suggestion from

2015 on How to include a screenshot in your post.
