    When is the Message Missing Manifest Error ever going to be resolved.


    Well here we are August 14, 2024 and we still have the same problem with the error Message saying Manifest error when we log in. No one wants to address it or correct it. I have uninstalled every program possible, I have done everything that everyone suggested to no avail. I have looked at all the blog from November 2023 and nothing resolved my problem. I just click OK. but that is really not a solution. Every time I get a windows update I pray something will correct it, but no. Noone is interested in it.

    Windows Update Error Message 0x80070543


    Ya Ya Ya, there's over a hundred threads like this, ...

    Anyway, started getting this error message a few days ago, and done a lot of searching on this error message, apparently it's not, uncommon.

    In particular, the (currently) 4 updates that are being affected are:
    • Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3173428) - Error 0x80070543
    • Security Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3172729) - Error 0x80070543
    • Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3174060) - Error 0x80070543
    • Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3176493) - Error 0x80070543

    The actions I've taken to date are:
    1. Uninstalled firewall program (comodo)
    2. Uninstalled anti-virus (Avast)
    3. Reset the windows update catalog on local machine.

    So the above errors are with the above done.

    What other steps should I be taking to resolve the issue?

    Below is notations for when I actually add to this thread.

    Exausted from trying to resolve Error 10006 correctly

    That's one of the sites I found with clear instructions. I've done all that's listed there and am still getting the 10016 error. That's why I mentioned that I must have missed something at some point since it's not resolved. I'll try going through the list again tomorrow. I'm too tired tonight.

    Tried resintalling and changing the region as mentioned in few blogs

    tried reinstalling the .NET also
