  1. When is windows going to change its update policies?

I and many other users are extremely frustrated with the update policy of windows. I used to be a big supporter of Windows in the days of Windows 7 and Xp. I even used to defend Windows from Mac/Linux admirers. But Windows 10 has been terribly underwhelming. When is Microsoft going to realize that the most important thing in a user's computer is not its operating system? Everytime I update, it creates new problems. It insists on restarting during an inactive time period. What if I am running a code overnight? It reverts my settings back to what Microsoft wants after every update. If this wasn't annoying enough already, I updated today and found that it changed my grub bootloader to its own. Microsoft's bootloader doesn't recognize that I had dual OSes on my laptop. It is as if a first wife is jealous of the prettier second wife. There are innumerable incidents of Windows showing notifications while people give presentations. I know that some of these issues can be fixed but that's not the point. Why should I waste my time on fixing them when Microsoft could do nothing and thus have the issues not come up in the first place? When will windows stop acting like a self-centered 5 year old kid who wants everything for himself and seeks attention by breaking things? Or, can Microsoft stop sending us updates? We don't want an up to date OS.

    :)

    GROUP POLICIES IN WINDOWS 10

You can change Group Policies by opening Group Policy Editor first. You can open it by following these steps:

    • Log in an administrator account. If you are already logged in as an administrator, proceed to step 2.
    • Press Windows + R to open Run.
    • Type gpedit.msc and press Enter.

After opening Group Policy Editor, you can now make the necessary changes that you want.

Should you have more concerns, feel free to post.

    Regards.
