Windows 10: when Itry to connect to the internnect it says my computer does not support mira cast

When I try to access my email I receive a message that my device does no support miracast

On your Android phone, go to Settings > Display > Cast or just search Cast or Screen Mirroring in the search icon in Settings. Check box and activate the Enable wireless display option. Now, you should see your computer appear in the list if you have the
Connect app open. Tap on your computer name and it will instantly start projecting.

If the Connect application is showing the message as "Desktop is ready to connect wirelessly", then the issue might be with your mobile phone, so I suggest you to cast with a different mobile phone, which supports Screen Mirroring and check if you are able
to cast it to your computer.

 

Sceen Cast without using HDMI

Android Cast not working with "Connect"

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

What is the make and model number of your computer?

I first suggest you to make sure your computer supports casting by following the below steps.

Click on the Start Menu > Search for Projection Settings and check if it shows any error message like
This device doesn't support Miracast so it can't project wirelessly.

Also, you can press the Windows and A keys > Then, click on
Connect and check if you are able to cast. If your computer doesn't support Miracast, then it will show you the same error message.

helps.
