    When locking my machine, the longer it's been left on, the longer it takes to actually lock


    Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I leave my home PC on during the week so that I can remote in when I need to. On day 1, Win+L will lock the machine almost instantly, by the end of the week, it can take up to 10 seconds to lock after hitting the key combo.

    I'm on 1909 x64 Windows.

    Caps lock, num lock, scroll lock lights no longer function


    I took a hint from another forum and the lights actually work on Safe Mode.

    Hi

    I looked but I can't find a Shift Key Radio Button anyplace, nor Advanced Key Settings, when I run a search it just tells me there is no such thing.

    I did learn that I can set it so that it plays a tone whenever I push the Cap Lock Key, I never knew that before.

    Win 10 lock screen not working

    I have a Windows 10 Home desktop and the lock function no longer works.

    I had it setup to lock with the screensaver and that worked well . I would also control-alt-delete to engage the lock. That is no longer an option on my login. Oddly enough, there is a second user ID on the machine with very limited rights. That ID
    is able to lock the computer. go figure!?!? Any suggestions appreciated!
