Windows 10: When moving a paste that explorer says its only 64gb, it consumes much more

    When moving a paste that explorer says its only 64gb, it consumes much more


    I only have 68gb on my C drive, and I should be able to move a 63gb paste to it. But I can't, because on explorer, it says at one point while moving that I do not have enough space. How a 64gb paste consume more than 64gb when moving?

    I tried to move the same paste to my E drive, and it consumes far much than 64gb according to explorer, then it returns to consume only 64gb.

    Hi,

    The copy/paste problem could be due to Windows Explorer issue or faulty keyboard.

    Wewould like to know some information to better isolate the problem:

    • Is the issue also happening when trying to copy/paste any Office files, or is it only happening in Windows Explorer?
    • Have you tried other ways like; right-click + Copy, then right-click + Paste?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Best thermal paste

    Most decent thermal paste is about all the same (1-2 degree difference). Without knowing the two listed, (I use MX-2), I would suggest going with the one that is non-conductive.

    Help with heat sink thermal paste for h100i 1800x

    Use the paste you brought. Also I would have suggest artic x4 unless yours is better but yes use yours.

    Actually check the temp with the factory standard factory paste first and list the temps
