    When moving my mouse, it freezes for a second and unfreezes over and over!


    Everytime when I move my mouse, it freezes for a second and unfreezes, my mouse I'm using is a usb wireless one and it also freezes for more than 1 second so how do I fix this?

    my laptop freezes everytime i move my mouse across the screen or a far distace

    my laptop freezes for a few seconds then unfreezes evertime i move my mouse a certain distance across the screen

    Mouse movement freezes the OS for a few seconds at random intervals

    I just bought the MSI Cyberpower PC and booted it up and I have been having this problem all night. I have tried the following:

    • Updating Windows
    • Updating the drivers for the mouse (it just says I have the best version)
    • Restarting the computer
    • Unplugging and plugging the mouse into the same port
    • Unplugging and plugging the mouse into different ports
    • Troubleshooting the mouse through windows
    The mouse that I have is the one that came with the PC, so I am pretty sure there is no issue there. It is a brief freezing of the screen that causes all currently programs to stop until it unfreezes a second later. The problem seems to happen at random
    times. I really have no idea where to turn for this issue. I have seen countless posts about this and none of them seem to be helpful.

    Please don't tell me I have to take the computer back....

    Mouse hangs, freezes for a split second, every two seconds, when moving the cursor around the screen

    Seems like after the latest fall update my mouse freezes, both if using touchpad or wired mouse.

    Tried in safe mode, DOES NOT occur in safe mode.

    Went through the WHOLE LIST of services and start up programs after a clean boot, one by one... could not find the problem.

    Checked for updated drivers all updated. Still annoying stops freezes for a split second every few seconds when moving the cursor around the screen.

    Do I just need to do a hard drive format and clean install?
