Windows 10: When my computer wont charged and after i trouble shooted it when ever i pluged up my...

This happened right after i troubleshooted my computer about it not charging it became laggy i even tried to steps to fix this but it didnt work. When ever my computer died and wouldnt charge then after an while it did charge it wasnt laggy anymore but when something launched in the background my chrome page didnt respond and it became back laggy while i was on it while it was charging so i just gave up trying but is there really anything i can do to fix this?.

Battery Pluged in not charging

I have a Alienware 17in laptop and recently the battery will charge up to 37% and will stop and say pluged in not charging.

 

Trouble shooting

If the cpu fan is not connected to the mobo just disable it in bios to stop that error, had the same with this this mobo i'm using and a corsair H80 due the fans being pluged into the block rather than my mobo.

If that is not how your setup then not sure what to suggest.

 

laptop battery wont charge after latest update

1. Shutdown your laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Connect the AC power adapter to your laptop.

4. Power on the laptop

5. Open the Device Manager by typing Devmgmt.msc into Start Menu or from Control Panel.

6. Under the Batteries category, right-click all of the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery listings, and select Uninstall (it’s okay if you only have 1).

7. Shutdown the laptop.

8. Insert the battery.

9. Power on the laptop.

If above suggestions wont resolve the battery charge issue then follow below steps.




Step 2

1. Shutdown the laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Start the laptop with only AC adapter connected to laptop.

4. When you login to Windows OS connect the battery while Windows OS working.
