Windows 10: When on Films and TV and click "save photo from video", how do I make it open photo legacy...

I used to take screenshots on the old photos app, managing to go frame by frame on videos to take screenshots of, but the new app doesn't allow me to go frame by frame, so I am assuming the legacy app is the old one which allows me to do that, so when I try to open a video in the photos app, it opens the new version of the app instead of the legacy app, so how do I make the legacy app the app which opens for taking pictures in, I have tried setting my default photos app as the legacy app but that doesn't seem to work.

I open video in Films & TV app, choose edit (looks like safety pin), then select save photo from video, then on new picture click save a photo. Get message saving. Then what, please???? Where is the photo?

Windows Shell Experience Host, Photos, Settings and Films TV are running but not open on startup

I have the latest build of Windows 10 (1511) and I find when I start my computer Windows Shell Experience Host, Photos, Settings, and Films TV are running even though they are not open. I've made sure to set Photos and Films TV to not start on startup but
they still do. It is really using up my battery power.

Is there a way to stop these programs from running on startup?
