Windows 10: when opening image from the windows search bar, it opens in the "print image" app.

1. In my Settings > Apps > Default Apps : the Photos app is default for all file types.2. I can open my images normally, and open image with the default Photos app.BUT, BUT, BUTwhen I search for a image in the search bar from pressing windows key,It opens the image in "Print Pictures" appregardless of the file extension.the behavior is observed with jpeg, jpg, png.I've been searching and seeing people having this issue for a long time, yet nothing from microsoft that has been constructive.will this ever be solved? or is there actually a fix?

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

• Which application are you using to view these images?
• Is this issue confined only with the images on your device?
• Where are these images stored on your device?
• Have you tried to access the images on different application (Photo Gallery)?

Step 1: I suggest you to follow the below steps to provide permission to the folder and check if that helps.

Steps to give permissions to the drive:

• 
  Right-click on the folder which you’re unable to access and select
  Properties.
  
• 
  Click on ‘Security’ tab and under ‘Group or user names’ click on ‘Edit’.
  
• 
  Click on ‘Add’ and type ‘Everyone’.
  
• 
  Click on ‘Check names’ and then click ‘OK’.
  
• 
  Select ‘Everyone’ and under ‘Allow’ select ‘Full
  control’ and click on ‘Apply’ and Click ‘Ok’.
  

Step 2: If the issue is confined only with Photos app,
I suggest you to run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter, troubleshoots problems that may prevent Windows Store Apps from working correctly.

Follow the below steps:

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar on the Taskbar.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on Windows Store Apps.
• Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Photos and images not opening on windows 11

I just did that and Reset. Now when I double click it opens the image I clicked on and then it asks me how I want to print it.
Like what the?

I have a third party app so I can open images that way but I would like the default app to work.
