Windows 10: When Powerpoint is opened it changes the audio playback on streaming music.

When Powerpoint is opened it changes the audio playback on streaming music to mono from a Stereo.Powerpoint presentation does not have any audio or video.This started happening after switching to Windows 11.I've tried playing through Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.When Powerpoint is closed audio returns to stereo and sounds better.

No Gapless Playback in Groove Music

The troubleshooting steps did not help. I'm on version 10.19031.1141.0.

Is there a list of file formats that are supported for gapless playback? Is gapless playback only for streaming, or is it for local music also?

PowerPoint file crashes PowerPoint upon opening

since this happens in some of the computers only, suggest that you open the file on working computer and copy everything and paste to a new powerpoint file.
most of the time it works to me. *Smile

2. Do you get any error code or error message when you try to record the audio?

We will have to try few troubleshooting steps to further eliminate the root cause of the issue.

Open Windows voice recorder and try to record any audio and check if that works.
