Windows 10: when press Right shift key it opening media player how can i fix this in windows 11

when I press right shift button its opening media player I thought let's just solve this problem via deleting the media player but after deleting the media player now it's opening the VLC media player so some how it setting media player at right shift key in windows 11. let me know how can I fix this problem

Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter:

a. Press “Windows key” on your keyboard.

b. Type Troubleshooting and click Troubleshooting under Settings.

c. Now select Programs in the search option.

d. Under Media Player, select Windows Media Player Settings to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2:

Perform System File Check (SFC), and then, check, if this fixes the issue.

Follow these steps, mentioned below:

a. Press “Windows Key

b. Type “cmd” without quotes in the search box.

c. On the left pane, right click on the “cmd” option and select “Run as Administrator”.

d. Type ‘sfc /scannow’ without quotes and hit enter.

Note: It may ask for windows installation DVD to fix and to enable SFC to make more than minor repairs. Some files saved on your computer might get deleted when fixing corrupted files.

Method 3:

If that doesn’t work, I would suggest you to uninstall then re-install Windows Media Player and then check, if this fixes the issue.

Follow these steps, mentioned below:

a. Press “Windows key”.

b. Type “Turn Windows Features on or off” without quotes in the search box and hit enter.

c. Expand “Media Features” option.

d. Un-check “Media Player”.

e. Restart the computer.

Follow these steps to re-install Windows Media Player:

a. Press “Windows key + W”.

b. Type “Turn Windows Features on or off” without quotes in the search box and hit enter.

c. Expand “Media Features” option.

d. Make a check mark next to “Media Player”.

e. Restart the computer.

Windows Media Player 11 plays but doesnt open?
